Ken Parker - How Strong
"I don't really have three faves... But these are three songs I'm vibing to right now. Old Jamaican cover versions of classic R&B songs is doing it for me at the moment... like this one originally sung by O. V. Wright. It was covered by groups such as the Rolling Stones, Taj Mahal, Otis Redding, Alicia Keys and many more. But in my eyes there is no version like this one. I believe that once you sing this song to the girl of your dreams in this way.... she's yours. No doubt!"

Prince Buster - All My Loving
"This is another beautiful cover of a song originally performed by the Beatles. The super rare vinyl of this went to a Italian bidder in an auction for €400. I heard it on David Rodigan's radio show and was blown away."

Terry Callier - Dancing Girl
"Last but not least a song that's no cover but an original song by someone that never got the recognition he deserved. I love long epic songs like that. Songs that are arranged like classical music and tell a story that's set beyond the conventional framework provided by public radio and TV. Just like "Stairway to Heaven" (Led Zeppelin), "As" (Stevie Wonder) or "Darker than Blue" (Curtis Mayfield) this is a song that should be mentioned in the same breath. By an artist who is still touring by the way. Much love to him!"
