This morning, we’re very excited to welcome Charlotte Leclerc for a full-on trippy episode. I discovered her while browsing Delodio’s catalog and instantly fell for her volatile waves and magical bass. Her second album, Moiré, is a must-listen whenever you’re longing to (re)open your third eye and let music and imagination fill your day with visions of hope.

Let the sound drip through your body, you deserve this moment of rest and lightness. It all started with a wave. Now there’s life in each and every cell of your body. Feel the movement within as it grows on you…

Charlotte Leclerc’s selection

Ali Omar - Roll Up

Charlotte Leclerc: “ This track is a dub diamond.

The whole album, Hashish Hits is a posthumous album by artist, producer, and MC Ali Omar, released in 2025, via the Efficient Space label. The album pays tribute to the memory of this underground figure, originally from Liverpool and based in Sydney. It compiles eight tracks recorded between 1998 and 2004—songs that were either originally released on his own independent label (Hashish) or had remained obscure. The album’s musical style spans underground electronic genres, blending influences from dub, electro-house, trip-hop, and hip-hop. “

Subliminal Calm - Nobody ain’t noone judge us

Charlotte Leclerc: “ A perfect 90’s japanese pop song to begin a day. This track is amazing.

Steering clear of flashy 1980s Japanese pop, Subliminal Calm delivers music imbued with nostalgia and rooted in a decidedly acoustic sound that melts genres : dub, pop, house.

When you hear the name Hiroshi Fujiwara, the first thing that comes to mind is typically fashion. The “godfather of Harajuku” is one of the most iconic Japanese fashion designers around and his influence on the global streetwear phenomena cannot be mistaken. What you might not know is that Fujiwara was actually a musician and producer before becoming a designer. Subliminal Calm, one of Fujiwara’s early groups, is a cult favorite and features a unique mixture of dub, pop, folk, and country. The singer/guitarist is joined by members of hip-hop collective Major Force and brass reggae band Mute Beat. The result is absolutely sublime. “

Mathématiques Modernes - Jungle Hurt

Charlotte Leclerc: “ I really enjoy listen to this song from the french band Mathématiques Modernes.

This french duo bringing together Claude Arto and punk icon Edwige Belmore only released one album in 1982. They delivered a blend of hypnotic synthesizers, a cold drum machine, and chanted vocals—typical of the Parisian underground scene of the early 1980s.

I’m always amazed by the musical arrangements which open a brand new world. This sunday can begin. “

ImaCrea’s selection

Charlotte Leclerc — “La Chambre”

ImaCrea: “This intoxicating melody accompanied me through some of the trippiest days I had last summer. Her voice creates a sensual tension and urgency that contrast with the ambient backdrop, filled with vaporous, bizarre sounds. I love the atmosphere it brings. Love is in every second of this track, letting everything it touches fall into deep joy.”

Spivak — “Golden Boy”

ImaCrea: “We spiral… let’s add some drums with this beautiful track from Spivak. Vulnerability isn’t a bad word. I believe it’s precisely how we’ll bring peace. And it takes great courage.”

Froid Dub — “On The Nose”

ImaCrea: “Closer to the ground, the body gets energized. Beneath us, the mycelium is vibrating. This track is one of the best discoveries I’ve made this year. I’ve been waiting for months for the perfect moment to share it with you… For real! And it’s thanks to Froid Dub that I explored their label and discovered Charlotte Leclerc’s music…”

Peach — “Rainy Season”

ImaCrea: “Life needs water to flourish. Let the sound drip onto your skin; imagine rain and reconnect with a ritual deeply embedded in human history since time immemorial. This track is so gentle. Be sure to check out the EP… it’s soo invigorating…”

Thank you for tripping with us this morning. Thanks to Charlotte Leclerc for her magical selection which inspired greatly to keep the vibe going on and on. And to Thibault for the jungle-esque illustration. Love, peace, unity.

PS: Sorry, I broke inadvertently the loop feature on the player while working on improving some stuff in the code of MailTape. Didn’t have time to fix it, I’ll try my best to find a solution soon, thanks for you patience. 😚
