This morning, we invite you to celebrate surprise and wild curiosity. Our dear guest, Patricia Dallio, is a French experimental electronic musician who began her career in the ’80s and spent three decades as a member of the now-cult band Art Zoyd. You might find her improvising and creating music somewhere in the forests of Haute-Marne. The vegetal world is buzzing with life and sound, if only one knows how to shift one’s attention toward the ever-magical world of the non-human. Be prepared to reassess some of your assumptions about what a MailTape episode can be.
In a world increasingly shaped by prediction and repetition, surprise becomes essential. Letting our musical tastes evolve, and remain in a state of metamorphosis, is life itself moving through our bodies. Music keeps changing because life keeps changing.

I’ve known Albert’s work for a long time, and as he says in his lyrics about this album, “Come on, just one last little one before we pack up and leave.” I found that so touching. And then this song reveals his immense sense of humor. I love his work. “

His stage name alone is worth the detour. You don’t find that kind of energy on every street corner. He’s a musician who really throws himself into his lyrics and “gives it everything he’s got,” as they say. “

It instantly transports me to another space, allowing wild visions to emerge. “

ImaCrea: ” Porta’s is Sylvie Balestra + Nicolas Godin + Thomas Bernard. It was 2am yesterday as I was patiently curating music and assembling this episode. 4 hours in the making and plunged in almost a state of pseudo dream induced by Patricia’s music, I started to listen to L’Argenté du Népal and again everything changed. Vivid light coming from this ecstatic track ended turning this musical journey into a new chapter filled with so many promises of profund discoveries. Death is not the end.”
